We, at Covenant seek our encouragement from the Bible. We believe that the Lord strenghtens those who seek him. We trust that you will find joy and hope from the verses below.

Comfort for God's People

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."....Isaiah 40:28-31

Do Not Fear

"But you, O Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. SO DO NOT FEAR, FOR I AM WITH YOU; DO NOT BE DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD. I WILL STRENGTHEN YOU AND HELP YOU; I WILL UPHOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND."....Isaiah 41:8-10

A Time For Everything

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time ot mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. WHAT DOES THE WORKER GAIN FROM HIS TOIL? I HAVE SEEN THE BURDEN GOD HAS LAID ON MEN. HE HAS MADE EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL IN ITS TIME. HE HAS ALSO SET ETERNITY IN THE HEARTS OF MEN; YET THEY CANNOT FATHOM WHAT GOD HAS DONE FROM BEGINNING TO END. I KNOW THAT THERE IS NOTHING BETTER FOR MEN THAN TO BE HAPPY AND DO GOOD WHILE THEY LIVE. THAT EVERYONE MAY EAT AND DRINK, AND FIND SATISFACTION IN ALL HIS TOIL-THIS IS THE GIFT OF GOD. I KNOW THAT EVERYTHING GOD DOES WILL ENDURE FOREVER; NOTHING CAN BE ADDED TO IT AND NOTHING TAKEN FROM IT. GOD DOES IT SO THAT MEN WILL REVERE HIM."....Ecclesiastes 3:1-14

Pressing on Toward the Goal

Philippians 3:12-14 "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.......

We Are Victorious!!!

"Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed - in as flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. FOR THE TRUMPET WILL SOUND, THE DEAD WILL BE RAISED IMPERISHABLE, AND WE WILL BE CHANGED. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."
