Welcome to Covenant Church. We hope to provide you an impactful worship experience. We strive to glorify Jesus Christ through his Good News every Sunday morning at 10:00am.
Forms of Worship on Sunday:
We are blessed to draw from a wide variety of styles and influences to provide a blend of contemporary and traditional music that is appealing to a broad population of ages and cultural backgrounds. We are typically band-led.
We provide an opportunity for people to give back to God a portion of their blessings. Typically we take two collections: The first is for the general ministry of our church. The second is for cares or concerns that Covenant supports.
If you are a visitor, please never feel under compulsion to give. We simply hope you connect with God.
This is an opportunity for us to all pause and give a few minutes to praying specifically for our church congregation, our neighbors and for God's blessing on the day's ministry opportunities. The prayer is led by a church Elder or Deacon.
Each week there is a sermon which runs about 25-30 minutes long. The messages are fun, reverant, and personal each week. We center all things on Jesus Christ and rely on the Bible as the authority from which we speak. It is our hope that each one of us hear from the Word of God and find out how it is useful to our daily lives.
The Lord's Supper:
We participate in The Lord's Supper six times a year and it is an opportunity for those who believe in Christ to particpate in a symbolic act of eating with the Lord and proclaiming His death until He comes again as a worshiping community (1 Corinthians 11)
We invite you to the Fireside Room for free coffee and bagels every Sunday so that you might enjoy authentic fellowship with one another.
How do people dress:
Our focus is on the fact that you are free in Christ (Galatians 5:1). We have people wearing everything from jeans and a t-shirt to a suit. You should come comfortable because the purpose of the service is for you to connect with God.
We believe God wants His house to be a house of prayer (Luke 19:46) and so we have regular opportunties to pray together. If you are uncomfortable praying out loud please feel free to attend and pray silently instead. God loves when His people gather together for prayer.
